ok so im trying to conect but i dont know how. i go to network settings and then there is basic settings and additional settings. on basic settings there is 2 things i can choose and here is what the first 1 has in it.
ip settings
ip address
subnet mask
gateway
the second box has
dns settings
primary dns server
secondary dns server
thats basic settings.
on additional settings. the 1 box has
PPPoE settings
user name p
password
service name
2 box has
advanced settings
host name
alternate mac address.
thats it. i am using the verizion mi-fi. the computer i am using is the mac.
do i have to use the computer to get on xbox live or can i just use the mi-fi? if i do have to use the computer then how do i connect with the computer. i have the xbox 360 wireless adapter with the light red.
when u go onto advanced settings there is
alternate mac address
host name
for basic settings it will ask u automatic or manual. its says on automatic
allow a router, gateway, or other device to automatically assign an IP address to your console.; recommended.
then on manual it says
manually assign an IP address to your console.
same thing with the dns settings just change IP to DNS.j
